PROGRAM

Routine is a necessity, but kids also need flexibility during the day. We put an emphasis on activities during the day. We offer hands-on activities throughout the day. Kids are also offered some freedom. We offer story-time, art, music, free play, circle time. We go outside weather permitting.

VISITING

You may come to visit our daycare and we encourage you to do so, except from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M., because it is a time for lunch and nap.

FOOD

We provide food for kids who eat solid food. Most food is organic. Breakfast, lunch and snack are served daily. Please let us know about any allergies and diet your child has. Infants will be fed as advised by parents. You must provide enough breast milk, formula or baby jar food for your children. Please, label bottles and containers with your child’s name.

PARENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diapers, wipes and diaper rush cream
  • Extra clothes
  • Blanket
  • Waterproof bib
  • Formula and baby food
  • Swimming suit or swimming diapers, towel and sun block (for summer)
  • Snowsuit, waterproof pants, boots, hat and mittens (for winter)

EVERYTHING HAS TO BE LABELED!!!

HEALTH POLICIES

  • Please call us if your child is sick and will not attend the daycare
  • A child with a temperature over 100 degree Fahrenheit is not allowed at the daycare
  • A child who has fever, uncontrolled coughing, persistent abdominal pain, infection, diarrhea, vomiting, communicable disease, etc. must stay at home and not allowed at the daycare until they are symptom free for 24 hours.  If your child has had Chicken pox, Coxsackie’s, ear infection, flu, pink eye, etc you can come back at the daycare with a note from a doctor.
  • We don’t give any medications.
